Geriatric physiotherapy is a branch of rehabilitation dealing with the elderly population. It can be for preventive, curative or people suffering from any kind of health issues specific to the elderly. In our Indian society, most of the elderly are dependent on family members, geriatric rehab helps them to improve their quality of life and make them independent physically by improving their strength, mobility, balance, gait training, flexibility and coordination which they may lose due to ageing process.

Evidence has proved people who stay mobile and independent as we get old is of greatest importance to both person's physical and mental health.

Our Physiotherapist can also give advice on gait correction and the safe use of walking aids such as a stick, crutches or a frame.
